My passion for health, wellness, and helping others feel at home in their bodies lead me to pursue a career in preventative healthcare. I moved to Ogden, UT in 2015 and began my college career at Weber State University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in health promotion with a focus in nutrition education. Since then I have gained experience working as a Nutrition Counselor in the area for nearly 3 years and I love my career, connecting with each one of my clients, and sharing the joy of healthy living with them. Nutrition counseling sessions with me are largely founded around intuitive eating and the idea that diet is not a one-size-fits-all and each person needs a unique diet for their unique body. In between my semesters at Weber State I completed 2 yoga teacher trainings to become a 500HR registered yoga teacher. After teaching yoga in the Ogden-Weber area for nearly 5 years now I feel very close with my community and I owe an immense amount to my teachers Allison Berlin and Stephanie DeTar.
I feel passionately about the roots of yoga, especially the meditation aspect, and helping people find peace within through the practice of yoga is my highest goal. The way that I teach yoga is through my intuition and it is my mission to offer up a space where people can just be with no expectations. I have combined these various passions to provide the Ogden-Weber residents that I serve with guidance to gain a 360 scope of wellness. My passion is living the healthiest life I can in all aspects and to inspire others to do the same.
